Is it only me that's annoyed with the super slow counts? Not only that, since when did it become normal for the ref to tell the fighter to step to the right, step to the left? He is giving the hurt fighter an extra 10 seconds to recover. That's not fair for the fighter waiting to go after the hurt fighter, imo.

seems as if average knockdowns take over 20 seconds now.

I have noticed that as well over the past few years. In the fight(s) where you've seen that occur, it was the house fighter getting the long count, right?

haven't really noticed if its the house fighter but it happened this weekend during the Berlanga fight, endangering his 1st round KO streak. I was yelling at the ref through my tv to hurry the fuck up. lol

I've noticed that over the last year. It also takes way too long to break up a clinch. Pull them apart and get out of the way.
