Default Cotto vs Mayweather or Pacquiao II?

So it looks like Cotto is suddenly the hot chick at the party. Since we won't (ever) see Pac vs Mayeather which fight would you rather see, Cotto vs. Mayweather or Pac vs. Cotto II? Assuming both fights take place at 150 or above.

If that's how things are going to play out, up next I'd rather see Mayweather/Cotto, Pac/Bradley, and JMM/Peterson. We need some new matchups in there. No one gives a damn about Cotto/Pac 2.

It looks like Cotto will decide who to go with within the next week or so. I read that GBP made him a better offer than Arum. If I'm Cotto, I'd go where the bigger check is at, which is more than likely with Mayweather.

Who in there right mind wants to see pac/cotto 2? It will be the same fight over again and i couldnt care less, i dont think cotto deserves a fight with either of them, id much rather see kirkland in there with both of em, damn that would be intresting he would ko pac's ass.

I know I'm in the minority but I wouldn't mind seeing Pac vs. Cotto again if it was at LEAST at 150. None of this trying to drain your opponent shit that Pac likes to pull. I think Cotto would give him a better fight if he's not weight drained. But having said that I would much rather see Mayweather vs Cotto at 154 for Cotto's title. I think Mayweather outboxes him at this stage in their careers but it will be an interesting fight for the first part of the fight to see if Cotto can build some early momentum and get some early body work in before Floyd starts to take control.

At least someone agrees with me on that part...and being as that fight will NEVER happen I will say that I would rather see a new match up as well, Cotto V Mayweather will at least be somewhat interesting...

Outside of Pac and Mayweather, Cotto is one of the biggest draws in all of boxing. Cotto/Mayweather would generate tons of revenue.

Kirkland isn't in the equation at all. He's better served focusing on his bout with Molina which is not a guaranteed victory.

I know Kirkland isnt in the picture i was just giving my opinion of who id rather see them fight other than cotto, kirkland will destroy molina thats guaranteed, cotto is a huge draw but theres many others id rather see pac and mayweather fight instead of cotto, after margarito and cotto number 1 cotto has not been the same and has no hope of beating either pac or floyd so i see no use for him to fight them.

Cotto - PBF will be a HUGE fight ($$$$).

He would be stupid not taking that fight.

Mayweather Cotto should be a decent fight, but I dont see what Cotto can do to pull it off. He wont outbox or outcounter PBF and if he fights agressive, he will get picked apart.
Colombian or Puerto Rican women? YUUUUUKKKK I liked bubba better.

According to an article in the Washington Post yesterday Richard Shaefer has said that Amir Khan may move on from a proposed rematch with Lamont Peterson if Peterson accepts an offer from Bob Arum that would involve his participation in a four man tournament, Peterson,Marquez,Bradley and Pacquiao. With Peterson and Marquez fighting in April and Pacquiao and Bradley fighting in May with the winners fighting around November. If that does come to fruition does it free up Khan to fight Mayweather?

You're probably right. Cotto has good boxing skills though, and he can take some punishment. He has what it takes to land some big punches on PBF and I am curious to see how Mayweather reacts. Cotto is a good mix of technical sophistication and toughness and its a fight that has me interested, even though Mayweather probably carries the day.

Mayweather is at NSAC hearing to get his license reinstated this morning and will apparently announce who he is fighting. Odds on favorite is Miguel Cotto. Sorry Canelo

Golden Boy should make Victor Oritz vs Amir Khan since they both need opponents now.

I'm definitely rooting for Cotto but I have a feeling Mayweather will outbox Cotto. I hope I'm wrong though.
