Been interested in finding out more about him for a while now, and there's a fair few fights of his now on UTube.

Any opinions. I was initially surprised by the fact that for a 20 round fight, they seem to be going pretty hamer and tongs at is for the duration, untill the ending.

I always bring him up and no one replys. One of the best of the Brits and to me probably one of the top three Jewish fighters of all time , he said something like "anytime, anyplace ,anywhere"..never turned down a fight in any weight division....Ringo

An amazing fighter, the more you find out about him the incredible his career appears.
It's always been difficult for me to draw a faair comparison with fighters like him and modern fighters.
But he still has to rank right up there as a great.

Jewish, well I did'nt know that untill you mentioned it. But on further research, there were a fair number of Jewish fighters around at the time.
