View Full Version : Hendo/Rampage
thoughts?
i can't believe this one is free.
i am looking forward to this much more than recent PPVs...
that said, i still wish Hendo would have come in and cleaned up 185 rather than continue to test himself outside of his weightclass.

Very close fight, I had Jackson winning 3 rounds to 2. Not the most exciting fight but a decent grueling title fight.

Nice fight. Both fighters looked very good. Henderson proved that he's one of the best, but perhaps a bit too small for that division. He should definitely go rape Anderson Silva and that bunch. :clappy:

Wouldn't be so sure about that. Silva can stand with Henderson. Sure, Henderson would take him down but henderson could get caught in a sub as well. That's not an easy fight stylistically for Henderson.

It was an OK fight. I don't think it was hugely exciting because they were on the ground to much and I knew there wouldn't be anyone getting subbed. It was good in spots but dull in spots as well.

For real Rampage hit the shit outta him a few times! I thought it was a good fight. It kept my interest and I didn't watch it until midnight after tailgating for 6 hours! lol
But I like to see these "championship" matches get stretched a little more and make the two fighters show everything they've got. They train their asses off for 8 to 12 weeks and this is when all that training shines through. I thought Rampage proved he belongs at the top. Now its time for him to avenge those Shogun and Wanderlei beatdowns.

I thought it was a good fight as well. I was impressed by both of them. Not everything has to end in a KO to be good. I can see Rampage beating both Shogun and Silva but he'd have to be on top of his game that night for sure. But most likely Shogun would win and Silva is 50/50. He's beat him twice already so that has to be in his head for sure.

Has anybody seen if Shogun can take a punch? I'd like to see Shogun fight someone as aggressive as him to see if he can deal with it. Houston Alexander and him would be an exciting matchup.
