i've only seen franca fight once... when he beat fisher... does anyone have some insight on him??? sherk was out for a while with an injury... but i'm thinking he should be able to beat franca... but if hermes can get sherk on his back???? i'll say sherk by decision...
silva vs marquardt is a little interesting also.... given how easy lutter was able to take silva down and nate is a real good grappler... though silva did fight pretty good off his back.... i'm picking silva by 2nd round stoppage
as for ortiz vs. evans... rasheed has looked good as of late... and this is tito's first fight since his loss to liddel.... i'm picking evans by decision

Good card on paper but the fights themselves could be another story. The 3 main fights all have guys in them who can lay and pray for the whole fight. Tito-Rashad could end up a stinker if 1 guy keeps taking the other down. Marquardt will try to make the Silva fight a stinker and Sherk will likely take Franca down several times. it has some good matchups on paper but in the ring I am not so sure.
yeah...i will watch Wlad fight instead and if I wake up and find out something exciting happened, i'll catch it on youtube...this doesn't seem to be worth paying for.

The matchups are actually interesting to me, I just worry that they end up stinkers.

I agree. I'm tired of ground and pounders being content with staying in the guard with their bullshit offense trying to rack up points, Tito included!

Yeah whenever there is a wrestler involved the possibility is very likely that it could be a boring fight. Looking forward to the fights though!

It was a better sport when headbutts were allowed...

sherk usually keeps a pretty good tempo... i don't mind guys ground and pounding... as long as their doing something... i think tito's pretty slick from a front mount... it also depends on how long the ref lets the fighters work on the mat...

Well almost every guy that won looked damn vulnerable especially Ortiz. That guy looks so shot these days. I actually had Rashad winning that fight. And how about Nog? Dude almost went out like Cro Cop in his UFC debut. haha

i had ortiz-evans a draw.... i thought evans shit the bed... you have to do something to win a fight.... his striking resembled sanchez's against koscheck (non exsistent)... but tito did look slow and lethargic (especially the kicks)
it was fun watching sherk eat some knees shooting in on franca... i was waiting for one to knock him out... though the 5th round was a bore; that sherk's a tough dude
herring choosing not to ground and pound nog near the end of the 1st round was a huge mistake... for a few seconds there i thought nog wasn't gonna make it... herring only has himself to blame...
as for silva-marquardt... i didn't think silva looked vulnerable... if anything... he confirmed that his grappling is damn near as good as his striking (franklin's in trouble again)... i noticed they didn't do a post fight interview with nate... he didn't look to good...

Yes, I should've pointed out that they all looked vulnerable minus Silva. He's definitely going to be a tough one to beat.

I maybe wrong , but personally i think tito look better than what many people think he would perform in this fight { although he gassed at the 3rd rd.} i think he could have won that fight...

i disagree... i thought he looked like crap... if you take away the first minute of the fight; tito looked like he was outgunned and clueless against an opponent who was much more capable then what he actually did...
but... had tito not been penalized for grabbing the cage (which he deserved); then i would've had him winning the fight

had he not grabbed, he would have been slammed...meaning Rashad would have won...
